Holiday Ficlets

Stolen from [livejournal.com profile] ijemanja

You: prompt me with a fandom/pairing/character + some kind of theme, word, lyrics, whatever.

I: will write you a 100 word drabble (at least) by Dec 31

* Anyone can request a drabble - friended or not, random passers-by and lurkers welcome.

* Primary fandoms: House, The Pretender
* Fandoms I will attempt to write in: Angel, Buffy, Sports Night, The West Wing, How I Met Your Mother, Firefly... whatever else I've seen? It's a short list, sadly.
* Crossovers are excellent.
* So is Cuddy. I will write Cuddy/anybody. ...I should probably put a disclaimer on that, shouldn't I?

(I also posted this in [livejournal.com profile] sail_your_sea - sorry if you get spammed twice :/)

Now I just want to watch the whole damn series again.

I know. I just watched most of the first season over again, and it is SO GOOD. This show, man. I can't even.

And yes, that's a good starter list, I think, though there are always more excellent eps I can recommend that aren't just CJ/Toby (The Crackpots & These Women, Take This Sabbath Day, Two Cathedrals, 100,000 Airplanes, Hartsfield's Landing, Bartlet for America, Posse Comitatus, Inauguration 1&2, Privateers, Life on Mars, The Supremes.) Please note that all recommended eps from from the first four seasons (with the exception of "The Supremes," which is the one S5 ep I remember not completely hating (except, also, "Full Disclosure"). I just don't know S6&7 well enough to recommend anything, though I think they were much better than S5.

Anyway. Yeah, I love this show a little bit too much.

ALSO, for a fab CJ/Toby episode, S3's "The Two Bartlets." "Butter butter butter butter butter butter butter." CJ's dad's Alzheimer's. No, really. Add it to your list.
