anybody know whether "penser" would be conjugated in the passe compose or imparfait in the sentence,

"mais elle (penser) ______ que le troisieme etait parfaitement confortable."

I think it depends on the rest of the surrounding words. If that's the most specific thing that happened, then it'd be passe compose. Although, it seems like a general-ish kinda sentence, so I'd go with imparfait...
