Thank you so much for this! Unfortunately today is cleaning out the house day otheriwse I'd spend the day reading... Especially because I haven't read any Huddy fanfiction in over a year. I sure need a fix.

I'm trying so hard to remember about my favorite Huddy fic, I'm sure you've read it... I can't remember the title but House and Cuddy were married and there was this German/Austrian woman living with them as she hasd helped raise "Greg", she had been a sort of maid... And she plays a huge part in the story explaining about his childhood... Then Cuddy gets pregnant and rodes his bike, hehehe. I have very bad memory but the story is AMAZING!

Yes, it's by Cincoflex. It's called Tempered. I can link you if you want. In all honesty, though (and no reflection on you!) I kind of hate that fic. I'm not the foremost authority, obviously, but I find it incredibly OOC. I think it's decently written, but I really feel if you changed the names of House and Cuddy to Steve and Barbara (or whatever) it would work just the same. It's a great original fic; not so much House.

But that's just my opinion! And, hypocritically, I'm very judgmental of House!fic, lol.

I thiknk you are absolutely right, they are very OOC. I used to love Friends back in 2001/2002 and my favorite stories were very OOC, too. I hand't realized that until I read your reply.

I'm sorry the list is so short! LOL If I can think of anything, or any individual fics that stand out, I'll rec those too. And somewhere I have a fic-rec list, but I have no idea where it went, and am far too lazy to back-flist my own journal.
