First, thank you very much for the summary of Illyria from your last post! It helped me understand her a little bit more, especially the part when she tells Cuddy her presence wasn't wasted. She really DID come a long way from her Holier Than Thou attitude you wrote about in the summary. It added the extra sadness when she decided to let go.
Speaking of sadness...It's so Cuddy-like to be motivated by her need to help people so she has to leave her life in Princeton behind. But...Ack! My first reaction was, "NOOOO!" The scene at her house when she comes back: his shirt, his smell, the warm hands, and then her telling House, thank you. I think what really made it heartbreaking for me was her note to House in the end: "Everything". If she stayed, maybe we would get to see how their relationship would be without his pain, but then (again) she wouldn't be Cuddy if she knew she could help more people by choosing to be with Angel. So sad, but oh so good!!
Regarding a sequel. Hmmm...This story just ends so beautifully that I seriously wouldn't know how you would start it. But then, I'm not genius like you. (Well, obviously. Heehee.) But either way, THIS story was really wonderful. Oh! And I would like to mention that I liked how you used the time sequences in the story. It fits with the end cause you're left with the feeling that maybe there is a future...Huh? I just realized my long babble is telling you that I'm happy that you made me sad after reading this story. Hee.
