Wow. Another beautiful piece. I'm always blown away after reading any of your work. You do both funny and sad so well. I think it's because every one of them is so original. (_Second Best_ is still my favorite though and will ALWAYS be my favorite of all past and future _House_ fics on the net: seriously.)
I think the common thread for all the characters in this story is that they're all yearning for something. And what's sad is that it's HOUSE that is the missing piece of their life puzzle and they don't know it, especially for Cuddy and Wilson. And what I find that's genius on your part is that as a reader, I'M feeling left with the same kind of yearning after I finish reading this piece.
One of my favorite lines:
When she was thirty-five her house doubled in size and silence and she didn’t sleep for weeks.
Maybe I should just reply to all your work with WOW, eh?
ps. Do you know how I can tell your one of my favorite House writers? I go back a few days later to your entry to read all your responses to everyone's comments. Only cause sometimes I noticed you give what I call author insights into your characters. Hope I don't sound too stalkerish. Just wanted to let you know your work is appreciated!
