I'm in Israel for the year, making a turd of myself with the Hebrew and Arabic languages, hee.
IKR!? Miss Parker is DA MAN. I love her soooooo much. And AP!! Best lady ever, y/y? "I'm like sasquatch in a tutu!" ILher. /fangirl

Oh, that's amazing! Are you studying the languages themselves or something else?
YES. I used to watch Less Than Perfect (even though it mostly sucks) just cause she's a total BAMF. And OMG PRETENDER DVD COMMENTARIES! AKSDJFLKA;SDJFLDSKASFD SHE'S SO AWESOME. ♥♥♥

I'm a Mid East studies major, with a concentration in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. So. Lots of history. Lots of poli-sci. Lots of languages that like to kick my ass. :P
Uggggh LTP. I hated that show with a passion, but I watched it anyway for Andrea. GAH. Is it awful of me to say I'm glad it's over? I hope she does something else soon. Though, I'd totally understand if she wants to stay out of acting now, after Joe. :/
UGH, I am horrible. I actually haven't seen them! I own the DVDs (they're at home now) but I never watched the commentaries! FAIL FAN OF FAIL.
I actually got to meet her once. It was the most amazing experience, and she is just the sweetest lady. ♥

Oooh, that's cool! I love politics and languages and exotic locales, so you've got it all goin' on. Is Hebrew very difficult? I think my knowledge of it begins and ends with "Shalom". :P
No, that's totally okay. It was painful. The writing was appalling, I don't like Sara Rue, and even though I'm a diehard Newsradio fan, Andy Dick mostly just makes me want to gauge out my own guys. But...Andrea! She and Zachary Levi were amusing together.
Oh, you MUST. I haven't listened to them all. Mainly just "Bloodlines", like, 45768319284 times. MTW mocking his own acting, Andrea doing Harve impressions, the two of them trading innuendo. IT'S ALL HERE.
...
OH MY GOD. SERIOUSLY? I'm squealing at a pitch only dogs can hear right now. HOW? WHERE? TELLTELLTELL.

Arabic >>>>>>>>>> Hebrew in the difficulty department. Man, oh man. I mean, Hebz isn't a walk in the park or anything, but compared to Arabic, it's like having your cake, eating it, and then getting seconds. (That isn't to say I don't love Arabic, because I do. It's my favorite language. If only I could speak it. *le sigh*)
Hebz crash course for joo!
Shalom = hello/goodbye
Ma'nish'ma? = How are you?
Beseder! = (I'm) good!
Ani ohev/ohevet at/atah - I love you (ohev = said by a boy)(ohevet = said by a girl) (at = to a girl)(atah = to a boy)
Sherotim = bathroom ;)
There! Now you can travel the holy land!
Ugggggh Andy Dick. He lives up to his name quite nicely. I don't like him. :/
I will! ...when I get home and have access to my DVDs. So, June. FAIL.
Hee, yes! When she was doing LTP, the cast went to Disney's California Adventures for an ABC special thingie, and I got to go.
Long version:
They were doing this thing were you could get an autograph and get your picture taken with the stars, and Andrea was one of them. I stood online for houuurrsss (okay, probably not really, but it felt that way!) but she never showed up. I, of course, promptly dissolved into tears. And then lo and behold ten minutes later Andrea comes hurrying over to the photo booth (for lack of a better term) and my mom was all "Please say hi to my daughter OMG" and Andrea was like, "I'll BRB, promise! Stay here!" And so we stayed there and we met Sherri Shepherd's BFF, who helped us get Andi's attention. And after the photothingie she came over and gave me a big hug and talked to me for a few minutes and gave me an autograph and took pictures and SHE WAS SO NICE OMG. I, of course, was a blubbering, fangirly wreck (hey! I was like 13, SHUTYOURFACE) but. It was amazing. And I love her dearly. I may or may not also have her autograph from when I mailed her a letter a few years before. *stalker*
But yes. That is my story. It was epic. :D

Thanks for the lesson! You're there till June? WOW. You'll be fine, you'll be an expert by then! (That's a lot of DVD withdrawal, though. o_0)
Awww, that's such a nice story! She sounds adorable! I LOVE HER EVEN MORE NOW. And there's no shame in a little crying. Hell, if I met her now I'd probably cry, and I'm 21. Honestly, I'm horrendous at meeting famous people. I seriously have, like, retrograde amnesia from the time I met Torri because I was so fucking nervous.
(Dude, I just glanced back at my previous comment, and "gauge out my own guys"? Typing with predictive text on my tiny cellphone at 2am FTL.)

Well, I'll either be here until June (if I decide to stay the year), or I'll go back to my Uni in January, which is still pretty far from "home-home". So. But yes, I'm leaning toward staying here for the whole year, and then maybe part of the summer?
OMG STORY TIME FOR YOU! You met Torri!! TELL MEEEEEE. Pretty please? THAT IS SO EXCITING I MUST USE CAPS! I'm totally obsessed with her right now. I love her dearly, she seems like such a sweetheart.
(Your typing fail will be permanently excused if my horrifically delayed commenting can be granted the same amnesty, hee. ^^)
